Shepherds to launch new Junior ISA for tax-free saving
Putting aside savings for children to give them a head start in life is now more important than ever, so when the Government decided to end the Child Trust Fund scheme and replace this with a new Junior ISA from November 2011, Shepherds Friendly set about developing their own tax-efficient Junior ISA plan.
The new Shepherds Junior ISA will be available from this November and parents can register today for news updates and confirmation of the earliest date on which they can apply.
Parents can apply for a Junior ISA for any child who doesn't already have a Child Trust Fund in place and can invest up to a maximum of £3600 a year until the child reaches the age of 18.
